Ok so this is old news, Disney merges with Pixar the whole world already know it. And they saw it was good for Disney. Here comes the next Aladdin.
But while re-reading the press release about the merger it struck me that they left out that Pixar contributed in the creation of the early 90′s feature Disney films as Aladdin, besides doing Toy Story and their shorts. It appears Aladdin got his own CG team under the guidance of James R. Tooley this team did the visual effects and character generating for the movie
The leading force behind the Pixar crew is Thomas Hahn, according to IMDB he leads the software team where Pixar movies are generated with. In the old days he is just credited as ‘personnel: Pixar’ I think that he together with Peter Nye and Micheal Shantis gave direction to an engering team of Pixar. It doesn’t seem they animated much. The biggest group within the Pixar team where the painters but what they painted exactly is unclear.
