Jim Hill has a heartwarming story about the non-profit organization “Famous Fone Friends.” They receive requests from often very sick children who like to talk to their favorite cartoon character. The Famous Fone Friends asks the voice actor of that character to call that child pretending they’re that character. On the list of voice actors who voluntarily call are Scott Weinger, Linda Larkin and even Robin Williams himself. Also a few guest voice actors on series lend their voice for the good cause including Nancy Cartwright (the sprites) and Rob Paulson (various characters).
It reminded me of a topic at Aladdin Central forums I saw a few weeks ago and the get a call from a Disney Princess though Disney.com. For the latter the Company does ask money for each call a princess makes.
