I was surprised at the lack of Jasmine. That’s back when Disney remembered the movie is called Aladdin, lol. Although the focus on Genie wasn’t surprising.

I noticed that too. I think marketing didn’t want to set a romantic drama adventure stamp on it since their last movie was about the impossible relation between a girl a beast maybe Disney Marketing thought “We can’t top that. Let’s stamp it as a an action/adventure/buddy film.
