T-Rex from Aladdin episode Much Abu about Something
As you might know the third
Ice Age film, Dawn of the Dinosaurs, is premiering in a few days. I’ve seen and loved both Ice Age films.
I wondered if the movie has anyone aboard that worked on Aladdin back in the day I compared crews and found that
Dan Chaika a digital effects animator did key effects on Aladdin. He has a long career in his earliest he work at Filmation Studios on series like She-Ra and BraveStarr before switching of to Disney. His movie credits include The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and the later 90′s classics like Pocahontas and Hercules. he stayed up until Chicken Little. Now he’s at Blue Sky as digital effects animator or director.
The Ice Age movies have some great characters like the kind of foolish but lovable mammoth Manny . Diago the saber tooth tiger sort of the villain of the first movie always reminded me of Shere Khanfrom Jungle Book. And there’s the mascot of the franchise Scrat the saber-toothed squirrel with his obsession for acorns.
The story goes more or less like this: In the third movie the characters have more or less settled, Manny and his mate Ellie (from Ice Age 2 I believe) are having a baby. Diego feels getting old, afraid he is not as fierce as he used to be. Scrat also seems to get end up with a mate but has quite allot competition from her over acorns. All the while Sid faces real-life dinos.

My old friend Tiger spotted a photo series on LiveJournal. The orginal author felt like placing the Disney fairytale princesses in reallife situations. Like Snow White married with 2.5 kids and bumb prince as husband. Or Aurora’s prince aged gray still waiting for his princess to wake up.

I always wanted to make a video with Rufus Wainwright’s version of Hallelujah the populair Shrek song. Well guess what… I didn’t. I hoped someone else with better editing skills beat me to it but if that’s so the video didn’t end up at YouTube. Instead of bringing the boring looong Jeff Buckley version that practily copied the whole first half of the movie. I found this clip.

I caught That Stinking Feeling last weekend. It such a funny episode, Iago and Abu doing their usual get-rich-quick scheme, this time a huge golden ring protected by a dormant plant monster. Uncouthma at the palace dinner party juggling Jasmine and Sultan hilarious.
I love that big guy. So I looked around on Deviant. See he has fans with artistic skills too.

Those who glace by would say “hey that’s a frame from the film” or they might think it’s traced over a still. Taking a closer look you’ll notice her pose is different, the background looks a bit smudgy and the coloring is different. Personally I think this 16 year old girl from Germany should apply at Disney for a job. Afmaking talent.
P.S. If you go a few pages into her gallery there’s a cute drawing of Roger and Anita from 101 Dalmatians.

The Lea Salonga & Brad Kane love duet preformed by honouredman on the piano. I didn’t knew the song was popular enough to get covered, but checking YouTube I found at least 3 vids but the singers weren’t good at all. Personally I never liked the song myself but the unique event that Lea and Brad did a song besides ANWNW makes it special.
