How they met: Merkal met Aladdin on the streets of Agrabah about 5 weeks after he and Jasmine got engaged. He helped him later that week by staying with the Sultan.
Yesenia met Aladdin after the 40 thieves trashed the wedding chapel. Crystal met Aladdin a while later after Malcho helped protecting Agrabah.

How they met: Both Crystal and Fazaal met Sadira a few days after Aladdin and Jasmine became parents. Yesenia and Merkal briefly met Sadira at Jasmine's wedding with Aladdin. She never met their parents.

How they met: Hadiya is a little girl of 8-years-old. She was attacked by another child when she was younger. Now her face is full of scares. She met Samir who offered her his friendship together the childeren tried to pull a prank on Merkal but he was quicker. They talked when Yesenia came over to visit her best friend. Later that day the kids stayed at Yesenia's home where they met Crystal. Hadiya's pictures draw by Michelle. When's 16right she's 8-year-old.

How they met: Samir was deciding what to steal for his meal. When Hadiya offered him some food. He took it and as he said "I want to show you kindness" in return. The rest of the story is the same as Hadiya's.

How they met: Merkal and Yesenia meet Jarida and her 6 year old daughter Micha in "Secrets of the Heart."
Jarida and Micha are taken prisnor and sold to a caravan heading to Cairo, Egypt. There they will be sold as slaves. Jarida 's husband, and Micha's father, died in his slavery as their whole family. The village where Jarida and her family lived was attacked by an small army, the village is burned down to the ground and it's people captured and sold as slaves at slave markets around the seven deserts. For a while the family, 1 brother and his wife, a sister and Jarida with her husband and child worked together on a farm. The reasons why only Jarida and Micha survived are unknown.
Little Micha and Yesenia get along great, Yesenia is good with kids (see Agrabah's Greatest Gift). Yesenia makes Micha laugh and smile while the little girl distract Yesenia of the bad situation she's in at that moment.

How they met: The mysterious but beautiful Rima makes her appearance in the palace dungon where the 12 year old Merkal is trown in awaiting his trail (see "Year of Suvival"). Rima is 16 years old when Merkal meets her, no one knows her exact background. We know that she's from the eastside of the city and had fallen to drugs and crime. She's a wise girl for a 16 year and she had a friend and moved away. She's a neglected child by her parents. But trough it all she kept her beauty.

How they met: When Fazaal was on his way to his cousin he looked up at the sky and the next moment Makeen was there with his car filled with apples. Fazaal offers his help in getting the car too the palace. They get aquinted and become friends. Makeen's family roots come from Greece, his mother's parents life there. He speaks with a Irish accent so from his father's side he's Irish. As a young man, at the time New Challenge he's in his 50's, he joined a ship that sailed too the middle-east. He liked there so much he decided to stay.
