You might reconsise the artwork below as a standard Disney Princess coloring page that’s probably been colored by thousands of kids and a few adults. But I bet you’ve seldom seen it colored in such an amazing way.

For years I’ve tried to make a coloring page of this image. I first saw it in the return of jafar comic many years ago. Fast forward to today where I found the image as coloring page in a Disney Princess Activity block. Once at home I threw it under the scanner, cleaned it up and added a nice border around her.

Genie is the maître d’ at the bistro Aladdin and Jasmine have a romantic candlelight dinner for two.
Abu is obsessed with all that shines so it is to no surprise he steals a forbidden treasure from the Cave of Wonders.
The coloring page is made by myself by decoloring the image. On and off it took me about two weeks work sadly some details didn’t make it still I’m proud on what I accomplished. Jasmine’s crown is left colored on purpose, I thought it was a nice effect.

Agrabah’s jolly playful old ruler is intrigued by the Magic Carpet his daughter Jasmine latest suitor Prince Ali brought to his palace.
The basis is a Sultan coloring page from a recent purchase ‘pimped’, to use a trendy word, with a frame and decoration. Hope you enjoy!
The temprature in Amsterdam reached 25°C yesterday which is unsual for the cool sea climate Holland is known for and I’ve a week holiday vacation. You can imagine how I yearn for some refeshment. It kind of connects with Hula Dance a recent coloring page, Aladdin and Jasmine escape the daily stress for fighting monsters and magic there too.

The Dutch April issue of Princess features Aurora, Ariel, Snow White, a tibt Pocahontas and 2 Jasmine activities. The 2 player game I WIsh, I Wish and a connect the dots annex coloring pages showing Jasmine and Alladin (with two l’s, shame on you Disney!) strolling around the garden watching a giant butterfly fly by. No stories, no comics just this. In the magazine the colorable part are just Al/Jas and the butterfly the rest was already colored in.

This year’s 12th Donald Duck has an advertisment for the March issue of Disney Princess Magazine with Jasmine on the cover.
It’s been a while since the last time Jas was featured on a Princess cover. The last time we saw the Arabian beauty was the December 2007 issue .
It seems Jasmine gets lesser coverage with each year passing since Princess was first published in Holland in 2004. An activity on how to make Jassy’s headband and a 4 page comic is all Jasmine gets this month. The cover image isn’t that great either it seems the artists cant get her face right that pink/purple looks very nice on her though but then again she always has purple outifts with pink accents in the DP line.
The leading lady is Belle with a comic, 2 games, 2 activities, poster and coloring pages. Mulan and Aurora get some exposure; Cindy has a comic and coloring page plus an activity or 2.
Jasmine’s comic takes place during preparations of the yearly royal parade held at the palace. Jasmine suggests holding it at the market this year, auditions are held and decorations are made. Finally parade day is here and all the rehearsing goes down the drain when the animal’s trip over each other and the artists have to run for their lives or being crushed beneath and elephant. As usual the princess saves the day and her father much embarrassment as she leads the parade dancing through Agrabah.
I send Michele scans for translation and post on her myspace.
Since we’re lacking a coloring page in this issue I made one myself. It’s from the last frame of the comic. I’ll put it in its own post later this week.
Sleeping Beauty is the star of the next issue.

Disney Princess merchandise is so wide spread i’ll find it in the oddest places. I was shopping for PJ’s and as I walked in the store my eye caught a Disney Princess Sticker & Color book with Jasmine on the cover. Me checking of course and besides two fine looking coloring pages of Aladdin and Jasmine. Of course I had to buy it.
Plain coloring pages are a bit dull so I added a nice border and some text and tada two brand new high quality coloring pages.

This is the second page of coloring pages showcasing the lovely princess of Agrabah. With her pet tiger Rajah. With a lowercase “h” people!
As with all coloring pages at Streetrat these are high quality pictures To print them click the thumbnail then use the brower’s printer function to print it. Normally that means clicking right and selecting “print picture”. You see, the bigger the picture is the better quality you get when fit to page is selected. That’s why old coloring pages from the Aladdin Activity Center look so bad blown up. They’re to small.
