German Lobby Cards

September 26th, 2009

This week I won a set of German Lobby Cards on Ebay. I’ve wanted these for years.
I put the ones I liked most under the scanner with the intention to make wallpapers from them sometime. You’ll see the first result in the new blog header above.

Browsing EBay for unique interesting products I found a never before seen WHOLE NEW WORLD FABRIC ART PANEL to make a pillow purse or decorative panel from.

An UK seller listed a placemat showing Al on Carpet avoiding Rasoul and his men’s swords. Last year I spotted a placemat with Carpet on it.

A cute Prince Ali puzzle fabricated by MB by a German seller.
I hate that there’s no more room for these decal stickers of Jafar and Jasmine on my bedroom walls. They’re packed with puzzles, posters and litho though if I can moved them closer together I might be able to stick in a few more small decorations.

Keenah’s Cross Stitch store sells a great different cross stitch patterns varying from super heroes to Harry Potter to Disney. Her Disney patterns include Princess, Pirates and the classic patterns like Mickey, Pooh and Pixar characters. Aladdin is represented with five patterns showing Aladdin, Jasmine and Rajah in various poses.

And another one! I should start a list of my Aladdin ornaments collection

“Christmas” a Princess Jasmine and Rajah ornament (mint in box) is made by Enesco for their Treasusery of Christmas Ornaments line that ran in the 1990’s.

Monkey Invasion!

April 3rd, 2008
I saw the exact same auction 4 months ago that’s right before Christmas. It would seem jon-gilly couldn’t sell it to the streetstones (literal transelation of the Dutch expression aan de straat stenen niet kwijt kunnen meaning something in the line of can’t sell something to a fool). I imagine besides fools only Abu fanatics who adore the ground the klepto monkey walks on are willing to spend the 25 pounds plus shipping on for a box full of 80 Abu beanies.

From the object desciption:

Title :-Official – Walt Disney Aladdin Beanie – Cuddly Toy – Abu (cheeky) Monkey – Brand NEW ! !

Measures approx 26cm tall, a cool little gift. Brand NEW.

Box of 80, these sell for about £5 each with P&P… Make some money for xmas

EBay’er angi406 lists an Aladdin lunchbox with a cute image of Al/Jas. I recognize the artwork from an ancient photo I kept it in my merchandise folder ever since I snapped it from some unknown long gone website. For a moment I thought a clipart of this existed but couldn’t find it on the usual sites. Hmm, I did see this artwork somewhere else, I think?? Get back to ya if I ever find it.

chevycollector55 currently sells a lunchbox with artwork inspired by the television show episode “Getting The Bugs Out”.
