Andreas Deja posted a clip of his work animating Jafar in various stages, from simple lines, to complete inbetween final animation. He was has even bits of animation that didn’t make it to the final film. Like when Jafar says “Rasoul Azadani” to access the cave of wonders a reference to the layout supervisor of Aladdin and the classic “simsalabim”. In Aladdin and The King of Thieves Cassim says “Sesame Open” to enter his lair.

Empire carries an artcile on the sometimes obvious mistakes animated villains make that leads to their demise. On page 5 it is explained that Jafar’s biggest mistake was turning into a genie, which is as I said pretty obvious knowing that big blue was a slave to his own lamp.
Deviant artist Spiriftwolf did a fun and very good looking Jasmine/Jafar cross with her wicked Iajah as henchman. The excellent coloring including the light-up scarab compliments the drawing. This is the third in a series the Tiana/Facilier and Ariel/Ursula ones are worth watching too.
