Over at the LiveJournal community Agrabah arielstreasures shared unique sketches of Princess Jasmine she scanned from a French making of Disney heroines back she got from her libary. Fans of Meg and Belle should keep an eye out, arielstreasures hopes to scan their sketches too.
The drawings show Jasmine using her body and looks to get what she wants. First the scene on her balcony she makes a move to the unexpecting Aladdin preteding to be impressed by his babble. And later she comes on to Jafar to disctact him.

Then she pulled his cape up and over his head

Amazing!
You might reconsise the artwork below as a standard Disney Princess coloring page that’s probably been colored by thousands of kids and a few adults. But I bet you’ve seldom seen it colored in such an amazing way.
Deviant Artist treznorspants gave the lovely Disney princesses a Halloween-ish twirl. Credits to abi(gail) at LJ d-Princess for fishing it up.
LJ’r Christina shared 50 Disney Princess bases for icons c.q avatars. The Jasmine ones are famliar to me. In 2007 I made a wallpaper from the center poster from the Disney Princess Magazine June issue.
Tiana and Giselle are in the batch.
For the Disney Princes and Princesses challenge on disney_100 LJ addie_grapichs has some unique Al/Jas icons in the first 10 she made.

I’ve updated Jasmine’s Dresses The Ultimate List with 5 Halloween costumes I got from the LiveJournal community d_princeses.
Over at LiveJournal’s Aladdin community PrinceAli put together a list of all Aladdin’s outfits including the variations dune to animation errors. I counted 23 outfits variations not included. Plans are to add the stuff Genie puts him in the future.
Kangfo posted on her LiveJournal a bunch of new Japanese Disney Princess magazine scans.
The Japanese artists gave the girls new jeweled dresses though it seems they went wild with the design. Jasmine’s dress has more jewels then the sand shark she helped catch in the episode Raiders of the Lost Shark.
Using a Japanese Princess Magazine image scanned in by kangofu this wallpaper is the result of playing around in Paint Shop Pro. If you are on LiveJournal stop by Agrabah, Aladdin’s community on there and thank her for taking the time. Burried down in her blog is many more Princess Magazine artwork.
Wounded-Melody made about 20 Disney Princess icons. Jasmine only got two one she has to share. I think it’s a lovely avatar. The rest is mostly made up Belle and Snow White.
The Disney badguy LJ
community had a small humoristic discussion about the new 2009 Disney villians calender where Jafar is reprisented with the standard stockart he’s got on all the D-villians products. As a matter of fact if you look closely there isn’t much difference between the 2008 and 2009 Disney villians calender. Besides Jafar I see the same Cruella, Ursula, Captain Hook, Evil Queen and Hades stockart for years. It looks like they go the same road as the princesses in terms of the same limited number of poses.
Kangofu put up a bunch of scans from Japanese Princess Magazine’s on her LiveJournal. The collection includes the main 6 princesses + a bit Mulan. The artwork varies from magazine covers to stickers.
Jasmine is present with a nice cover that sadly is so crowded with text garbage it can be used for anything else. That lovely outfit returns as a full body shot on a greeting card, great for a wallpaper or icon. I’m drooling on a side profile card from Tokyo Disney Sea. The card’s back is even better, it has a porcelain-like image of the Arabian princess.
The rest is standard Japanese artwork, nice but not that special.
I took the card images and made wallpapers see: Two High-Quality Original Princess Jasmine Wallpapers
mich311 shared her Disney Princess Magazine cover collection she gathered over the years. All the girls are covered but Aurora, Cinderella, Belle and Ariel got most exposure. Their dresses range from amazing to mehw. I’m in love with this picture of Aurora holding a bouquet but I hate it when they dress mermaid Ariel, it looks so odd
From the few Jasmine covers in that list I found most to come from me. But in the ones that don’t I did see gems.
