Group Hug! Aladdin and Jasmine reunited again @ D23 Expo 2015

Oh My Disney runs the story of the reunion of the Aladdin key crew. It wasn’t as big reunion as 11 years ago for the platinum DVD. Glenn Keane and Andreas Deja where among the few who didn’t attend the panel. But yeah they people who where there, directors Ron and John, animators Eric Goldberg and Mark Henn and voice actors Scott Weinger, Linda Larkin and Brad Kane had a good time seeing each other again. They mostly remercie the late Robin Williams and point out how much influence he had to the final film.

Scott Weinger reuntions with his “Full House” costars in “Fuller House”

I expected this news to come out sooner or later but now Scott Weinger himself confirmed it, His character “Steve Hale” has making an appearance in the Full House sequel Fuller House. After All he had a big part in the show in later seasons.

As you might remember he was DJ’s boyfriend for a couple of seasons before they broke up and she got into other guys. Steve did return for the last episode of the series to take DJ to her High School Prom.

My guess is that the makers of Fuller House wanted the main cast together before looking at other big guest roles. I wonder how they included Steve into the series. Speculation says Steve has passed away after marring DJ and starting a family with her. This because the premise of Fuller House is about widow DJ raising her daughters with the help of Steph and Kimmey Kibbler

D23 2015 Aladdin Panel

On Saturday August 15 at 6 pm D23, the annual Disney EXPO in the Anaheim Convention Center, Walt Disney World Aladdin’s directors John Musker and Ron Clements, Animators Eric Goldberg who supervised the genie and Mark Henn who was the man behind bringing Jasmine to life will discuss they’re experince working on Aladdin back in early nineties. They’re joined by voice actors Scott Weinger and Linda Larkin who did the speaking parts for Aladdin and Jasmine and Brad Kane who did the singing for our hero on One Jump Ahead and A Whole New World. This all for the release of Aladdin on Blu Ray as a Diamond edition set for an Oct 13, 2015 release

It’s not as big as the panel that was formed for the platinum edition in 2004. But I’m glad Disney is giving Aladdin at least some attention. Though I suspect this gathering will not end up on the disc itself I’m sure recording of the event will popup on Youtube quickly after.

Full House returning after 13 years

Rumor has it that the 80’s sitcom Full House is getting a new season on Netflix. See a simplet of the story by Variety Online Magazine below.

Netflix is one step closer to ordering a new season of “Full House,” the ABC sitcom that ran from 1987-95 starring John Stamos and Bob Saget.

According to, which broke the news, the new show would be called “Fuller House” and would focus on Candace Cameron Bure’s character of eldest daughter D.J. and her best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber).

A Netflix rep said the report is “just a rumor,” without elaborating. Warner Bros., which produced the sitcom, declined to comment.

Candace Cameron Bure is rumored to return as D.J Tanner while her best friend Kimmy Gibbler will again be portrayed by Andrea Barber. The rumors also say that most of the old cast could be returning in one form or another this could of course mean that Scott Weinger (Aladdin voice actor) could also return as Steve Hale D.J’s long term boyfriend and now maybe husband and father of her children.

I loved watching Full House and seeing the girl growup, see Danny struggeling to be aingle parent with the help of his brother-in-low Jessie “Have Mercy” Katsopolis and his best friend Joey Gladstone. So much fun!

Aladdin meets his voice

The one and only Scott Weinger traveled to Toronto this week too see how the character he is partly resposible for come to live on stage. Afterwards he got to meet Adam Jacobs and James Monroe Iglehart, the guys playing Aladdin and Genie in Aladdin the Musical.

Also the song for Princess Jasmine that replaced the horrible Call Me A Princess is titled Beyond These Palace Walls
